Tonight at 8:00 p.m., Twilight will make its formal debut on Showtime - the first subscription cable showing for the film.
Showtime obtained the exclusive right to show Twilight on cable, and, on January 16th, Showtime made the movie available for viewing to its "On Demand" subscribers.
Since its release in November, 2008, Twilight has been an absolute commodity to the business, and Showtime was quickly followed in acquisition by FX (who nabbed the exclusive rights to show the film on ad-supported networks).
In support of its involvement with the series, Showtime stood beside us on the red carpet at the premiere of The Twilight Saga: New Moon and took some exclusive footage of the night.
