It appears the ABC has accidentally leaked the winner of this year's Triple J Hottest 100.

Independent news website Crikey has published a screen shot of the ABC Shop website which promotes the February edition of JMag.

The preview reveals which band grabbed the top spot.

The page has now been taken down and Triple J management has refused to confirm or deny that the report is correct.

Betting agency Centebet says the alleged leak of the winner will not impact on internet betting sites.

Centrebet spokesman Steven Hobbs says voting for the countdown has already closed so punters will not be affected.

"Our betting closes when the voting closes - obviously until the voting closes the winner is not known but once the voting closes, the betting closes so we couldn't be affected by any leak of the result," he said.

But Sportingbet Australia says it has closed all betting on the Hottest 100 countdown because of an information leak.

The Hottest 100 is revealed annually on Australia Day.
