Every other E-Reader manufacturer on earth got a fist to the face (Engadget) this weekend with news of a new Asus E-Reader. The Asus DR-570 will sport a 6" OLED screen with high-brightness settings. It will have both WiFi and 3G, and will be capable of showing Flash video

Asus claims the DR-570's battery will last 122 hours on a single charge under 'real-life' conditions. This wonder-reader is supposed to hit stores around the end of the year, possibly in time for the holiday season.

To be honest, the DR-570 sounds more like a highly specialized tablet than a straight-up E-Reader. I'd expect (since it can handle Flash and sports WiFi/3G) that this thing will have a browser and probably an app store (or, maybe, it will run on Android and be able to use the App Market). So the DR-570 is a portable OLED Internet/Reader tablet with 3G, WiFi, and a ridiculously long battery life? What's the catch?
