Farrah Fawcett's omission from the 2010 Oscars is still causing an uproar -- first it was a friend who spoke out against the Academy, and now it's Ryan O'Neal. Farrah's longtime companion told Radar Online about his feelings following the "In Memoriam" snub:

“It was a terrible decision and very hurtful...Farrah was a member of the Academy for over 40 years and we could not believe she did not get a mention."

He added that both he and daughter Tatum planned on filing a letter of protest to the Academy over their decision. A number of other A-list celebrities -- from Patrick Swayze to Brittany Murphy to even Michael Jackson -- were all included in the tribute while Farrah, Bea Arthur, and Ed McMahon were all left out.

What do you think: is Ryan O'Neal right to be upset at the Oscars over Farrah's omission? Let me know what you think below and stay tuned for more news.
