Professional athletes consider stretching as one of the most important pre and post activity in any sports. But for any normal athletes and sports minded people, stretching is not relevant. Because of our excitement to immediately engage in the sport, we tend to forget stretching.


But studies, dont have that facts that stretching would really prevent muscle soreness before and after athletic activity. Some experts would also say that it can prevent injuries. In fact, some researchers found only little support that stetching before the actual play can prevent either acute or overuse sports injuries.
